Hurricane Gustov had devastating affects to our area including the Toups house. Over a third of their home was destroyed by fallen trees and the rest was in disrepair due to being opened up to the elements.

From this an aggressive restoration project was born that took the project team on a journey that was both challenging but very rewarding with a house make over that now feels like it has been there forever. Inside and out, the entire house is touched with new finishes throughout renovated spaces and additions that make the house more in line with the Toups everyday lifestyle. These additions include a second floor that is couched within the existing attic space with a new bedroom and game room that are evident by the new dormer windows found on the front and rear of the house.

On the ground floor, changes include an updated kitchen/dining/mudroom area, a new kids bedroom suite/den addition and a renovated master suite. A new back porch wraps around off of the great room with the depth and height needed to make it more usable allowing interior spaces to open up to a beautiful backyard that features a new pool/patio.

The existing and new exterior brick and wood surfaces are painted which helps tie everything together as one new house. Strategically placed stone walkways, landscaping and exterior lighting finishes off the more contemporary look they desire.
