This Spanish-influenced design is placed on a beautiful lot to take advantage of the natural setting, dominated by two live oak trees that frame a view of a neighborhood pond from the dining room. Then plan of the house is wrapped around a family room that affords views through the tree canopies to the pond on the front side and through a deep porch which opens to a courtyard on the rear. A library space on the front right and a keeping room porch on the opposite side are placed to put one in the middle of each tree canopy. A second story balcony off of the bedroom wing is supported by exposed timber beams that compliment the character of the courtyard.
