This traditional Acadian style home is a 1 1/2-story with 6 bedrooms, 6 full bathrooms, and 3 powder rooms. The main house has a conditioned square footage of 8,508sf and a total under roof square footage of 12,286sf, and the 3,340sf shop is perfect for the owner’s passion of wood working and additional storage needs. The driveway enters the site along the west side of the 3.4-acre lot leading past a guest parking area onto a 3-car garage and shop building. From the guest parking, visitors have access to a welcoming wrap around front porch.

As you enter the foyer, a staircase that leads upstairs bedrooms turns above your head to create an arched paneled opening that opens into the main den space. To the left of the foyer is a formal dining room with paneled walls, which connects to the kitchen through a butler’s pantry and to the den through a serving/wet bar space. To the right of the foyer is a more intimate living room space that also provides access to the den and a guest bedroom/media room through a short vestibule.

The kitchen has one large island with seating for 6 as well as a breakfast area surrounded by windows to maximize views of the pool and backyard. Nearby access is provided to the outdoor living and cooking areas that overlook the pool and surrounding patio. Down a hall connecting the kitchen to the side entry porch one finds her office space and a laundry/mudroom providing views to the front yard and strategically located near the garage entrance to the house. Nearby an additional staircase leads to a large multi-purpose game room over the garage.

On the other side of the house, a hall from the den leads to his office space and then to the master suite, both of which have views to the backyard. Upstairs are 4 more bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathrooms, and a sitting room that looks out over the pool. All the bedrooms have a dormer with a window seat that has views of the front or back yard.
