An undersized master bedroom, bath and closet for their lifestyle was the impetus for this renovation to a classic “A. Hays Town” designed house.The existing master bedroom suite is turned into a guest bedroom and the new master suite is added to the rear of this bedroom with a new hallway along the side of the room. The new master bedroom is positioned to the back to maximize views to the backyard on either side of a fireplace with a mantle designed to fit the style of the house.  A bay window bump out adds to the opportunity to experience the new courtyard. The bathroom and closet are located inward and to the other side of the new addition. The bathroom is finished in marble with stained wood vanities and a glassed shower that adds dimension to the space.The new addition creates a new courtyard that features a sugar kettle fountain and reaches into the backyard to allow one to enjoy more of the backyard than ever before.
