The Master Bath was original to the house. It was divided into two spaces with a wet area and a dressing area, which was common for this period of bathroom design. The new bathroom design opens the space into one room which allows the most flexibility in the use of space and the best opportunity for natural light to penetrate the space. The two longer walls are used to place new fixtures and built-ins as the design began to take shape. One side features a cast iron whirlpool tub flanked with closets on each side of an arched opening. The other side has a toilet, vanity unit and a shower that turns the corner as you walk into the space.
